The Tide Pool tablerunner laser kit includes matching fabrics to the original pattern cover design for all appliques and piecework as well as binding. All kits are packaged by Wildfire Designs Alaska with all fabrics labeled and stored in a reusable vinyl bag, great for safekeeping your project. Special requests can be made for matching placemat/napkin kits at order@wildfiredesignsalaska.com.

Laser kits are available with or without a pattern (you will need a pattern to make your first kit for applique layout and cutting instructions). Lite Steam-a-Seam 2 is fused to all laser pre-cut applique pieces and all applique fabrics have been prewashed. The light and medium blue background appliques (behind all the creatures) will still need to be handcut on this tablerunner design as they are too large to fit in my laser machine. You will also need 2/3 yard of Lite Steam-a-Seam 2 for these background pieces.

When I was in 2nd grade my class took a field trip to Halibut Cove out of Homer, Alaska. While there the tide was out and we were able to see all the wonderful little critters hanging out in the pools. Urchins, sea anemones, starfish and seaweed were everywhere, and among the rocks were thousands of barnacles. This design could easily be done in brighter colors to reflect warmer waters.
