River Run: Day's Catch uses batiks from my 2020 River Run Signature Batik Collection with Hoffman California Fabrics. This pattern can be made as an individual pattern as shown above, or combined with the other five River Run patterns to make the complete quilt as shown below. See all my River Run batiks here. No better reward after a day on the river then feasting on your day's catch. This eagle has scored big and is ready to sit down to dinner while sea gulls jealously watch, hoping for some scraps. |

River Run: 6-Block Complete Quilt
The River Run design was inspired by life along the Kenai River in Southcentral Alaska. The Kenai and its tributaries flow through, and begin, in the many large lakes that support an abundance of life. From mallards and rainbow trout in the Kenai and Skilak Lakes, to the moose that drink from the freshwater, to the bears and eagles that feed off the many salmon varieties that swim up the river, River Run celebrates the wildlife the river supports.
