Along the Shores: Starfish
My husband and I took our kids to Homer a few years ago and went beachcombing. We often spot a starfish here or there, but on that particular trip we found dozens of them along the shoreline. My daugher loved it and collected a bunch to 'set free' back into the water. The starfish we find there are the standard 5-legged sort and are usually purple to pink in color. This design is a combination of our Homer excursion and my experiences beachcombing on the west coast of Oregon or the sandy beaches of Hawaii. Along the Shores: Starfish uses my Along the Shores Signature Batik line with Hoffman California Fabrics. This pattern can be made as an individual pattern as shown above, or combined with the other two Along the Shores patterns to make the combination quilt shown below. |
