I like to call butterflies the 'pretty bugs' and they are always a favorite. My daughter tries to catch everyone she sees, but so far they've been lucky enough to evade her smothering love. This design is quick and simple, and can be easily made in a single day. A great pattern for a beginning quilter or anyone new to raw edge applique.
